Quilted Jacket

Hinge quilted jacket (on sale in stores at Nordstrom) | Madewell tee | Madewell jeans | Rebecca Minkoff bag | Tory Burch flats

I wore this outfit the second day while we were in New York. We spent the day exploring the High Line and had lunch at a great pizzeria in Chelsea. The weather was a little windy, but this quilted jacket was the perfect thing for walking around. I love transition pieces like this and cannot wait to wear it with white shorts when it starts warming up. Unfortunately, this jacket has since sold out online, but I have seen it in stores! I would definitely recommend grabbing one before they are gone. With the temperatures still fluctuating, its a great piece to throw on when it is too warm for a winter coat.

Broadway Premiere

Monique Lhuillier dress | Enzo Angiolini heels (similar) | J.Crew necklace (similar)

I can say this is a post title that won't come around often! My amazingly talented boyfriend worked on the new Broadway musical Aladdin and I was lucky enough to be his plus one to the opening night performance! It was truly an unforgettable night. I even got to go back stage and see all of the amazing sets and costumes (talk about Swarovski crystals and sequins!) I was searching high and low for a dress for the event, but could not justify spending a lot of money on something I would only wear once.

That's when Rent the Runway comes in. This was my first experience with RTR and I must say, I was impressed! I had the dress delivered right to our hotel and slipped it into the pre-paid UPS package and dropped it in a mailbox the next day. So. Simple. If you need a dress for an event, I highly recommend using RTR!
