With fashion weeks happening all over the world, I cannot help but feel inspired to update my wardrobe. If I had attended NYFW, this is definitely something I would have worn. I always admire people who attend fashion week and stay true to their personal style. This outfit is super comfortable, feminine, yet trendy and a bit edgy with these leatherette leggings, while still being completely me.

I had been in hunting for a pair of leather pants/leggings for the longest time but all the ones I looked were way out of my price range. I snagged these at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a few months ago for $30! The best part is they look and feel so much more expensive than they actually are, and they have pockets!

Fall Favorites

This past weekend we got a cold front and I am loving it. I think I am finally really excited for fall. My style definitely changes in the colder months by adding a few more trendy pieces, mixing textures and rich fall colors. Scroll through the widget to see what I am coveting for this season! Feeling Floral

So you know how everyone says to "buy the basics" to start your wardrobe? Well, what happens after all of the basics are hanging in your closet? While I was packing to go back to school, I found myself staring in my closet for a good thirty minutes and I finally realized that I own way too many basics. Solid white and navy tops and stripes were about the extent of my colors and patterns.

I decided that now that I have the basics, I need to start adding fun pieces that reflect my personal style. To do so, I have started purchasing more patterned pieces and a lot more color! This floral top was among my first purchases after realizing this and I am shocked at how much this goes with! I cannot wait to transition it into fall with some distressed denim or even black leather pants (more about those later).

Funny story: I was walking out the door to take these photos and found a rewardStyle box laying on my doorstep...it was my LIKEtoKNOW.it Campus Influencer welcome package! I was so excited to open it and found this gorgeous orange clutch (among some other seriously cute Gigi goodies) and was so pleased to find it matched perfectly with my outfit!

Workout Wear

I used to workout in the same oversized sorority t-shirts and "norts" (aka Nike shorts) and I just didn't feel all that confident (not to mention, working out in a big t-shirt makes you feel soo hot and sticky...ew). So, I started looking around online to find cute clothes that were actually made to workout in. Although I absolutely love Lululemon workout gear, my college budget just can't afford it! Luckily, after scouring the internet, I have found some pretty comparable solutions that are just as cute and a fraction of the price! Sites like Forever 21, Gap, Old Navy, and Athleta are great for inexpensive workout wear. I've also found great gear at places like Target and TJMaxx, too! I always feel more confident working out in cute gear (and it's a great motivator to get you in the gym, too!) shop my picks below:
