Leopard Sweater

Happy Wednesday!

I have been kind of obsessed with fuzzy sweaters lately. This one from Piperlime recently caught my eye and I have already worn it numerous different ways. I had never purchased anything from Piperlime (this is Piperlime Collection) and I was so amazed by the quality of this sweater (it is pretty thick and feels like angora). Keep in mind when ordering that this runs a little large; I am wearing an extra small and it still feels plenty cosy!

P.S. Piperlime is having 25% off when you spend $200 or more! Now would be a great chance to get some holiday shopping done bright and early.

Must Have for Fall: Boots

One of the best investments you can make is in a good pair of boots. I have gotten so much wear out of my waterproof and riding boots (I even recently had the soles of my Tory Burch boots replaced!) For something that you want to make sure keep your feet nice and toasty warm, I am all about spending a few extra bucks. Think about the cost-per-wear when buying expensive boots and pick a neutral color that will go with multiple outfits so you'll get the most out of your purchase!

I definitely recommend a pair of both Hunter and LLBean boots. When paired with the socks (these are my favorite!) Hunter boots are the warmest things around. One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't get my LLBean boots with the Gore-tex/Thinsulate. Although they are a little more expensive, my regular Bean Boots don't keep me nearly as warm. These are great when its raining and you don't want the weight of Hunter boots!

Riding Boots

Another necessity are riding boots. I have these above Frye boots in cognac and similar black Tory Burch boots. I personally think a black and brown pair are essential. Already have black and brown boots and looking for a third option? The grey over-the-knee boots above are a little more trendy but still classic.

Booties are a little less of a necessity, but still worth a small splurge if you are looking to update your fall shoe collection. I love wearing mine with skirts and dresses to help them transition into fall as well as paired with cuffed jeans or corduroys! The above pairs are all excellent options.

Cowboy Boots

Depending on where you are from, cowboy boots may or may not be boot necessity. I actually found my Lucchese boots at a thrift store for $9.00! I love wearing mine to football games, country concerts and even to class! Zappos has a lot of great options at different price points.

What are your must-have boots for Fall and Winter?

It has rained every single day for over a week so I was happy to finally be able to take these pictures! I have been living in this sweater from Boohoo. I had been wanting a fuzzy sweater since last fall, but all of the ones I liked were way out of my price range. When I came across this one a few weeks ago, I just could not pass it up!

Feels like Fall

Anthropologie top, J.Crew corduroys (old, similar), Rebecca Minkoff bag (20% off!), Kendra Scott earrings

Computers always seem to break at the most inconvenient times, am I right? Luckily I didn't lose anything, but it was still a nuisance! Well, today I am back with a new outfit post...

I tried on this Anthropologie blouse while I was in Dallas this summer for a wedding. I was so in love with it but for some reason I just didn't pull the trigger (slight lapse of judgment, what can I say). So, as soon as I got home, I went to my local Anthro and there it was! Just waiting to be purchased. Tip: I would definitely recommend wearing a white cami underneath since the detailing is so gorgeous and needs to stand out (I just forgot to bring mine back to school with me).

This was also my first excuse to wear my new booties I got all the way back at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Shoes always give me blisters....always. However, these little guys have been as comfortable as can be!

I am definitely excited for it to start getting cooler so I can sip pumpkin spice lattes (without sweating) and break out more of my favorite new and old fall staples like my trusty Barbour jacket or these new J.Crew beauties!
