Daily Details

I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite products that I use daily. I hope you enjoy!
After running out of my signature scent more times than I can count, I have been rediscovering old favorites. This scent is perfect for summer.
A drugstore red lipstick in 'Love That Red' that still makes your teeth look white & the most flattering pair of cat-eye sunglasses.
I purchased this during the #Nsale & have been using it every night. I heard you have to wait a few weeks for results, so I will definitely report back!
My holy grail hairspray that smells heavenly and doesn't leave your hair crunchy & the curling iron I swear by for loose beach-y curls.
I have really small lips, so I have been using this combo since high school to make my lips look healthy and full. Use 'Petal' and 'Pink Mauve' for the perfect natural lip.

Thanks so much for reading!

Personal Style Reflections

Madewell top (old, similar), Ruehl sweater (throwback! similar), Rag & Bone shorts, Dolce Vita booties (on sale for $85!), Marc Jacobs handbag, Forever 21 hat, Ray-Ban sunglasses, David Yurman ring, similar Signet ring, Bobbi Brown lip liner in 'Pink Mauve', Bobbi Brown lipgloss in 'Petal'

One of my favorite things about personal style is that it is just that: personal. Just how we are not confined to listening to one genre of music, you shouldn't feel like you have to be stuck wearing one particular style. I've said this before, but my style definitely reflects how I am feeling that particular day. And I love being able to go back through this little blog and remembering those feelings that brought to life some of my favorite (and not so favorite) outfits.

Happy Monday and thanks so much for stopping by!

Erin Fetherston Skirt

If I had to choose one outfit to represent myself, this would be it. To me, this outfit has the perfect combination of flirty, feminine, classic, and chic, all words that I would choose to best describe my style. I decided to keep the skirt the focal point of the outfit by making it pop against my black tee and blush accessories.

There are many designers that I strive to own at least one piece from (Rebecca Taylor, Stuart Weitzman, and Chanel to name a few) and owning one of Erin Fetherston's pieces was atop my list. When I saw this beauty on sale for under $100, I just couldn't pass it up. The classic silhouette is timeless and fun, making it a great skirt to wear to a girls luncheon with heels, or dressed down with a denim jacket and sandals for a relaxing day at a winery.

Skincare with Rodan + Fields

Now that I am getting older, I am learning more and more about how important it is to take care of your skin, which is something I definitely didn't do as a teenager. So, when my friend Caitlin Nagourney reached out to me about her job as a consultant for Rodan + Fields, this skincare newbie was eager to learn more.

I got to try out the Daily Cleansing Mask and the Triple Defense Treatment Broad Spectrum SPF 30. The mask is my favorite way to start and end my day (I love a product that is two-in-one!), you only have to wear it for two minutes, so I like to wear it while I brush my teeth and scroll through Instagram and it makes my face feel SO soft.

I had been on the hunt for a good SPF to wear under my makeup. The ones I had tried in the past were all so oily, sat on top of my skin, or just smelled like sunscreen. I love that this has such a light and refreshing (not suncreen!) scent and completely absorbs into my skin, while moisturizing at the same time.

Rodan + Fields Redefine Daily Cleansing Mask c/o, Rodan + Fields Redefine Daily Defense Treatment Broad Spectrum SPF 30 c/o

Rodan + Fields offers four core skincare lines depending on your skin type:
1. REDEFINE- for the appearance of lines, pores and loss of firmness
2. REVERSE- brown spots/sun spots, discoloration
3. UNBLEMISH- acne and post acne marks
4. SOOTHE- sensitive, irritated skin and redness

If you're not sure of which line you should use, Caitlin can work with you to help you create the perfect match. You can even take the Solution Tool quiz to find out what the doctors recommend. And you can try all Rodan + Fields products risk-free with a 60 day money-back guarantee.

Want to try Rodan + Fields for yourself? Caitlin is offering my readers a free Mini Facial Glow Kit (it is amazing) to anyone who places a Preferred Customer Order and anyone who places an order will be entered into a raffle to win the Multi-Function Eye Cream! You can contact her at: caitnag@vt.edu or by messaging her on Facebook and mention Little Styled Life!

Did I also mention that people make a living selling Rodan + Fields? Yep! You do not need to buy inventory or host parties, your business would be virtually all online! If you are interested in this business venture, contact Caitlin!

#NSALE: My Picks

Happy Friday! Today is an extra special Friday because the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is open to EVERYONE! Yep. The best sale of the year is right at your fingertips. It opened up to the public at 2am so I suggest acting FAST. My strategy is to buy everything online and then decide later if I want to keep it or not, even if that means multiple sizes. Last year I bought two different sizes of Tory Burch boots online and I am so glad I did, because they sold out almost instantly!

If you want to see my full comprehensive post of my favorite picks in each category, check out this post.

1. I picked up this leather jacket and I am so glad I did. The rose gold details are so stunning, and the fitted cut makes it more feminine.
2. I love how cozy this scarf looks! It would make a chic blanket for a flight!
3. I have had my Marc Jacobs handbag for years and the quality is right on par for the price. This one is such a beautiful color that will transition seamlessly into fall and winter.
4. I had dinner with some of my blogger friends the other night and my friend Jenn could not say enough good things about GLAMGLOW. This entire set is worth as much as one jar...I might have to get it!
5. I purchased neuLASH because you basically get the travel size free and I have been dying to try! It is way pricy, but I have not heard a bad thing about it so I am anxious to see if it works!
6. One of the best things to get during the #NSALE is denim. Denim hardly ever goes on sale and is something that will get tons of wear! My favorites are these and these.

What are you planning on grabbing from the Anniversary Sale? Happy shopping!

Chevron Shorts

As I get older, my style is constantly evolving. And along with that, comes the 'nothing to wear' syndrome. As I was standing in my closet the other day prepping for blog photos, I noticed that all of my shorts are chinos. All of them. Not to say there is anything wrong with them (I still love mine and wear them constantly!) but I realized I needed to add more shorts to my repertoire. These shorts. OMG. They are so comfortable, so cute, and neutral enough to be worn so many different ways (+ under $60!). I decided to dress them down for a casual Sunday dinner with my BFF (who was also super kind to take these photos!)

P.S. for sizing references, I'd say they run slightly large...I'm wearing an XS!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
