It's All Good

Happy Saturday! I am so excited to finally reveal what Aubrey Kinch and I have been working on! When I first started this blog in 2014, I didn't really have any clear direction. I purchased a $15 pre-made template because I wasn't ready to invest a whole lot of money into my blog. After all, I had no idea that after two years I would just be hitting the tip of the iceberg!

The Name Change
I haven't liked my blog name for a while. It felt too cutesy and it didn't really encompass who I am as a person, my style, or how I wanted to grow. It wasn't until late 2015 when it hit me what I needed to rename my blog to: It's All Good.

"It's all good" is probably my favorite saying, and sort of my "life mantra" if you will. After graduating college, I learned a lot about who I was as a person, and really grew a lot in the past year. I tend to put a lot of pressure on myself, and would often strive for perfection only to realize that perfection isn't something that can be attained, and that left me feeling discouraged. My personality has definitely become more relaxed and go-with-the-flow, and I love that about myself!

To me, It's All Good means letting go of the little things that you cannot change (why get upset over something that you cannot control?), letting go of perfectionism, and taking life a little less seriously. I am so excited to now have a blog name that represents who I am, but also a good reminder to take a step back and be thankful for how far I've come.

The New Design
Aubrey is an absolute dream to work with. She is so patient and really worked with me until things were exactly how I had envisioned them (even better, actually!) I now have a fixed navigation bar that hosts all of my social icons, so you can follow along super easily! The side bar is the same, with the addition of the Instagram feature that now has a slide show of my most recent posts. If you scroll down to the bottom, you will see an example of my "It's All Good" Pinterest Mood Board, that I frequently update with images that inspire me. There will be a few more adjustments to the new site, and I of course would love to hear your feedback!

Thank you SO much for continuing to support my space on the internet, I have some great things in store!
