Little Floral Shirtdress

Here is the dress I was telling you about in yesterday's post! I saw it on the same shopping trip with my mom, and was immediately drawn to the ruffle sleeves and covered buttons, two of my favorite feminine details.

Since I hardly have curves, I almost always wear a belt with shirt-dresses to give my frame more shape. I never really wore belts until I visited the new Joie store at Tyson's Galleria. After Khrysta showed me how to wear a belt with this dress, I was completely sold on the style staple. It is the perfect "finishing touch" to any outfit. I also love this affordable option.

It is starting to get a little cooler here, so I would definitely throw a trench over this look to make it more weather-appropriate. Dress it down with this and my Hunter boots, or give it an edgy spin with a leather jacket and black booties!
